Fabricating Shop Planner/Router

Pay: $18-24 Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fabricating Shop Planner/Router to help organize, schedule, and route jobs through a machine shop efficiently. This position plays a key role in coordinating materials, labor, equipment, and workflow to keep production on track and meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Review orders, drawings, and specifications.

• Create job plans, routing sheets, and production schedules.

• Coordinate material, labor, and machine availability.

• Assign work to the appropriate departments or workstations.

• Track progress and update job status as needed.

• Communicate with shop staff, engineering, quality, and management.

• Maintain accurate documentation and production records

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production planning preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

• Strong organization and time management skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
