Orthopedic Surgery Physician Requirements

• At least 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience
• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery; board certification is required by the practice setting
• Active Arizona medical license
• Current DEA registration
• NPDB report and case logs dated at least 2 years old
• Clinical expertise in arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision or repair
• Experience with hip, knee, shoulder, and other applicable joint procedures
• Additional experience in hand surgery, tendon repair, peripheral nerve surgery, spinal procedures, or percutaneous disc surgery is preferred

Orthopedic Surgery Physician Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of orthopedic conditions
• Perform arthroscopic procedures and total joint replacements, including hip, knee, and other joint replacements
• Perform joint revisions and repairs involving the shoulder, hip, knee, and other joints
• Provide surgical consultation, preoperative evaluation, postoperative management, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records, procedure documentation, and case logs
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
