LPN/LVN Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license eligible for practice in Oklahoma
• At least 6 months of recent adult medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Adult Medical-Surgical LPN Responsibilities

• Assess patients and contribute to individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients during 12-hour day shifts
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved standards and patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate care team members
• Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, ancillary staff, patients, and families to support coordinated patient care
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards and promote a safe patient-care environment
