Locum Tenens Physician Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of clinical or technical experience; outpatient primary care experience strongly preferred
• Active Florida physician license or eligibility to practice in Florida
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
• Strong experience caring for adult and senior patient populations
• Ability to complete required tuberculosis screening for this patient-facing physician role
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and commitment to continuously improving the patient experience

Primary Care Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and senior patients
• Perform health assessments, physical examinations, wellness visits, and preventive screenings
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Promote health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely medical histories and clinical documentation
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care when appropriate
• Support a personalized, whole-person approach to outpatient patient care
