Job Description

Join a 13-week travel contract as a PACU Registered Nurse supporting inpatient preoperative and post-anesthesia services in Santa Clarita. This assignment is ideal for an experienced ICU or ED nurse who is comfortable caring for pediatric and adult patients across Phase I and Phase II recovery. You will rotate among PAT, the Main PACU, and the GI Lab while supporting procedures that include endoscopy, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, plastics, urology, and general surgery.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Call and weekend availability are required, with approximately three call shifts during each six-week scheduling period and weekend shifts occurring about every other or every third weekend. Blocked scheduling is not available. Night owls with strong PACU, airway management, sedation, dysrhythmia recognition, IV, medication, and emergency-response skills will find plenty to put their expertise to work.
