Job Description
This travel Registered Nurse contract supports a fast-paced adult and pediatric medical-surgical telemetry unit. The RN will care for patients with conditions including COPD, post-operative needs, GI bleeds, sepsis, altered mental status, stroke, cellulitis, alcohol withdrawal, and other medical-surgical diagnoses. The assignment requires telemetry experience, comfort with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment, and the ability to manage heparin and Protonix drips. Pediatric experience is preferred. The team uses a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a team lead available who does not take a patient assignment. Orientation includes a scavenger hunt, adding a lighthearted touch to the onboarding experience.
