Job Description
Join a welcoming, family-oriented team as a travel Med-Surg RN on a 13-week contract in Roseburg, Oregon. This assignment supports a 52-bed medical-surgical unit caring for patients with conditions including pneumonia, CHF, COPD, renal disease, sepsis, stroke, and overflow general surgical needs.
You will work three 12-hour night shifts each week, caring for a broad range of medical-surgical patients while collaborating with charge nurses, break nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapy, and telemetry staff. Responsibilities include verifying cardiac rhythms, managing heparin per protocol and antibiotics, and troubleshooting CPAP or occasional BiPAP equipment. Floating may be required to the surgical floor or PCU within your skill set. First-time travelers are welcome, and block scheduling may be considered.
