Job Description
Take your nursing experience on the road with a 13-week Medical-Surgical RN contract in Peru, Illinois. Working 12-hour night shifts, you will care for medical-acute patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, COPD, urologic and surgical conditions, and total joint procedures. The role also includes monitoring telemetry strips, supporting stable BiPAP and high-flow patients, and providing focused nursing care such as Foley care, CHG bathing, and oral care.
You will collaborate closely with patient care technicians, participate in plan-of-care touchpoints, and work alongside a charge nurse and administrative supervisor. Previous Medical-Surgical experience is preferred, along with BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is preferred. The assignment includes every-other-weekend coverage, rotating holidays, and occasional floating based on staffing needs. Think of it as a night-shift opportunity to add Illinois to your nursing map.
