Job Description
Join a busy chemotherapy infusion unit in Terre Haute, Indiana, as a travel chemotherapy infusion nurse. This 13-week contract focuses on administering chemotherapy and other intravenous therapies, completing pre- and post-treatment assessments, accessing ports and peripheral IVs for lab draws and treatments, and monitoring patients throughout their infusions. You will also administer prescribed intravenous and oral pre-treatment medications, recognize and respond to treatment reactions, and follow established protocols.
Chemotherapy certification is preferred, while previous chemotherapy infusion experience may qualify. Experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) is a plus. Flexibility with daily hours is helpful because schedules may vary according to patient appointments. Solid-color scrubs are required in ceil blue, royal blue, burgundy/wine, or pewter gray.
