Job description
Job Description
Step into a rural Wyoming ICU assignment where you’ll care for critical patients at the bedside while also supporting MedSurg coverage as needed. This travel RN role is designed for an experienced critical care nurse comfortable managing changing patient acuity, working alongside another RN, and adapting to a close-knit setting. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, with weekends required and possible call during low census. Floating may include assisting in MedSurg, the emergency department, or postpartum without taking a patient load in those areas. A little wide-open Wyoming scenery comes with the assignment.
The unit uses Alaris IV pumps, cardiac monitoring, Space Labs, Mindray vitals, Nicom, Kangaroo pumps, Zo US defibrillators, and Pyxis. Applicants must have at least two years of critical care experience, a Wyoming or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Orientation includes HR and education requirements, restraint training, and one shadow shift before working independently.
