Job Description
This 13-week travel contract is designed for an experienced ICU RN supporting a mixed medical and cardiovascular ICU on 12-hour night shifts. The assignment includes caring for high-acuity patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, strokes following TNK administration, and post-cardiac arrest recovery. Nurses may also work with CRRT, IABP, Impella, PA catheters, ventilators, and immediate open-heart recovery cases.
The role requires at least two years of ICU experience, along with the ability to titrate sedation, vasoactive medications, paralytics, and other ICU drips. Experience with Swan management, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and immediate open-heart recovery is preferred. Nurses will manage and interpret their own cardiac monitoring, may float among critical-care floors or to the ER for patient holds, and will work a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. A WA or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
