Job Description
Take your nursing expertise on the road with a 13-week contract assignment in Salisbury, Maryland. This Med Surg RN role includes 12-hour night shifts, floating across Med Surg units, and caring for a broad range of adult patients with conditions such as CHF, renal failure, pneumonia, C. difficile, diabetes, strokes, fractures, and post-operative orthopedic and neurological needs. You will also manage admissions, discharges, and transfers while using McKesson documentation, AccuDose medication systems, wound vacs, braces, lift devices, and other unit equipment.
The schedule includes every other weekend with no call. Applicants should have at least two years of recent Med Surg experience, an active American Heart Association BLS certification, and an active Maryland or compact-state RN license. Navy blue scrubs are required, and medication competency must be completed with a passing score of 80%.
