Job Description
Join an outpatient surgical services team in Clarkston as an RN specializing in SSSU/PACU care. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work across day surgery, endoscopy, the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, the pre-operative clinic, and special procedures requiring conscious sedation. You will provide pre- and post-operative care, complete nursing assessments, deliver peri-operative education, recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, and support Phase II recovery, infusion, and endoscopy services. The schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule and a shared PACU on-call rotation. A minimum of two years of SSSU, PACU, pre-operative, or post-operative experience is required.
