Job description
Job Description
This 13-week travel contract is designed for a Registered Nurse with progressive care or true telemetry experience who is comfortable caring for PCU and medical-surgical patients across the hospital. You will manage progressive care patients with conditions such as atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, respiratory illness, heart failure, sepsis, and post-operative needs. Responsibilities include cardiac rhythm interpretation, high-flow oxygen and BiPAP, chest tubes, central lines, drains, wound care, pain management, PCA therapy, and heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, and nitroglycerin drips.
The role includes floating to PCU and medical-surgical assignments within your scope of practice. Support includes respiratory therapy, hospitalists, phlebotomy, centralized telemetry monitoring, and rapid response resources. Orientation includes classroom training, skills validation, and unit-based orientation across three areas. First-time travelers are welcome, and charge experience is a plus but not required. Bring your telemetry expertise for a night assignment where every rhythm tells part of the story.
