Job description
This 13-week travel nursing assignment is designed for an experienced registered nurse who is comfortable caring for oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit. Oncology experience is required, but chemotherapy administration is not part of the role. You will work 12-hour day shifts, care for a primarily oncology-focused patient population with some medical-surgical overflow, and use Cerner for documentation. The assignment also includes telemetry responsibilities, including reading and interpreting dysrhythmias and completing a dysrhythmia examination. Nurses may float to telemetry or other medical-surgical floors as needed. Applicants should have 2–3 years of specialty experience and prior travel nursing experience.
