Job Description
Join a 13-week MedSurg/Ortho travel assignment in Redding, California, caring for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures involving hips, knees, shoulders, and the spine. This role is designed for an experienced travel nurse with 2–3 years of specialty experience, previous travel assignments, and BLS certification.
You will work 12-hour day shifts and use Cerner while supporting a 17-bed unit. Responsibilities include interpreting portable telemetry, completing a dysrhythmia exam, and floating to telemetry or other medical-surgical floors as needed. The assignment includes one unit-orientation shift, rotating weekend coverage, and participation in the holiday rotation. Navy scrubs are required.
