Job Description
This 13-week travel contract is designed for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse ready to support a varied emergency caseload on 12-hour night shifts in Gilbert, Arizona. You will care for adult and pediatric patients presenting with trauma, strokes, cardiac events, high-risk OB concerns, psychiatric holds, and other urgent conditions, including cases requiring cardioversion or conscious sedation.
The assignment includes floating between nearby emergency departments in Gilbert and Chandler, with start times that may vary by shift. Travelers should be prepared for every-other-weekend coverage, two of three holiday assignments during the holiday season, and a day-one pass/fail simulation lab. BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, moderate conscious sedation competency, and at least two years of ER or trauma experience are required. A Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam is also required before acceptance.
