Job Description
This 13-week travel Registered Nurse contract is based in Wausau, Wisconsin, supporting an adult medical and pediatrics unit where the assignment focuses on adult patients. Working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., the RN will care for adults with respiratory illnesses, stroke and other neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetes, renal failure, urinary disorders, sepsis, wounds, clotting disorders, infectious diseases, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
The traveler will float among inpatient units as needed and should be comfortable managing changing priorities independently while collaborating with the broader care team. Trauma Level II experience is highly preferred. A Wisconsin RN license, BLS certification through AHA or ARC, at least two years of experience, and EPIC charting experience are required. This assignment offers a steady night-shift rhythm with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday requirements.
