Job Description
Take on a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse on an adult medical unit in Wausau, Wisconsin. You will care for adult patients with conditions including respiratory illness, stroke and other neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetes, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious diseases, and acute alcohol withdrawal. This role requires at least two years of experience, Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS certification, and EPIC charting experience; Trauma II experience is highly preferred.
The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, floating to inpatient units as needed, and a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. Flexibility is important, as patient volumes and unit needs may change throughout a shift. Bring a steady approach, ask questions when needed, and work independently while collaborating with the broader care team.
