Job Description
Join a 13-week travel contract as a Respiratory Therapist supporting adult critical care and emergency department services in Boston, Massachusetts. This assignment is designed for an experienced respiratory therapist comfortable in a Level I trauma and teaching hospital setting, with advanced ventilator management expertise across trauma, neurological, medical, cardiac, and surgical intensive care environments.
You will work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with two call shifts and holiday coverage required. The role includes on-call availability and a biweekly guarantee of 72 hours, excluding on-call hours worked. Required qualifications include a Respiratory Therapist license, Registered Respiratory Therapist registration, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience. Experience with advanced ventilator techniques, including esophageal balloons, pressure-volume loop interpretation, driving pressure assessment, and best PEEP maneuvers, is required.
