Job Description
This 13-week travel contract is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Med Surg Tele RN for 12-hour night shifts in Des Moines, Iowa. You will provide care for medical-surgical patients, including post-operative hip and knee surgery overflow. The assignment requires at least 24 months of recent Med Surg or Med Surg Tele experience, current or recent charge experience, and EPIC documentation experience. First-time travelers are welcome. An Iowa or compact/multistate license, AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification, and a willingness to work without blocked shifts are required. The department prefers a traveler who may be interested in extending beyond the initial contract.
