Job Description
Join a Labor & Delivery team in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel contract supporting labor, delivery, postpartum care, mom-and-baby couplets, and a well-baby nursery. This assignment is suited for an experienced OB RN who can manage patients beyond 34 weeks, care for newborns requiring IV antibiotics, IV dextrose, feeding and growth support, or bilirubin treatment, and care for post-surgical patients on the OB unit when needed.
You will work rotating 12-hour shifts in a small unit with two nurses per shift and support from an in-house house supervisor. Responsibilities include titrating oxytocin, magnesium, and insulin drips. C-sections are performed in the main operating room, so circulating and recovery experience is not required. The role requires at least one year of OB experience and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. AWHONN EMF Intermediate and STABLE certifications are preferred. When OB is closed, you may float to MedSurg as a helping hand.
