Job Description
Take your MedSurg expertise on the road with a 13-week travel nursing contract in Gillette, Wyoming. This role supports a broad range of medical-surgical needs in a rural setting, including telemetry, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, bariatric, detox, and end-of-life cases. Patient populations range from early infancy through adulthood and end-of-life care, giving you the opportunity to use a wide range of clinical skills.
You will work rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 7:00, including days, nights, and weekends. Call is not required, and travelers are not expected to float. Recent MedSurg experience is required, along with BLS certification. ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and chemotherapy certification are preferred. The assignment includes 8 hours of orientation and 30 hours of precepted training.
