Job Description
Take on a 13-week travel assignment as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in New Ulm, Minnesota. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., providing care for medical-surgical patients while serving as a charge nurse when needed. This role is a good fit for an experienced MS RN who is comfortable managing assignments, floating within scope, and supporting the unit through a steady night-shift rhythm. Charge nurse experience is preferred, and first-time travelers are welcome.
The assignment includes every-other-weekend coverage, no on-call requirement, and Epic charting. Required experience includes starting IVs, peripheral line management, blood product administration, heparin and insulin management, total joint replacements, oxygen delivery, isolation precautions, and care involving colostomies and feeding tubes. BLS is required, ACLS is preferred, and child and adolescent competencies are required.
