Job Description
Join this 13-week travel assignment as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Kansas City, Missouri. You will work 12-hour day shifts supporting patients who require close monitoring and stepdown-level care, with responsibilities involving cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedure care, IV insulin and heparin protocols, central and peripheral line management, blood product administration, respiratory support, wound care, chest tubes and surgical drains. The assignment welcomes first-time travelers and includes regular floating between departments, units and facilities as needed. Weekend shifts, holiday coverage and Charge RN assignments may be required based on unit needs.
