Travel LPN Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 23, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient GI oncology clinic
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour days

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; outpatient clinic or physician-office experience is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Excellent communication and patient-service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative oncology care team

Outpatient Oncology LPN Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical and administrative support to the physician and outpatient GI oncology care team
• Manage prescription requests, medication refills, and prescription authorization processes
• Relay test and procedure results to patients under established clinical protocols
• Assist with stat add-on procedures and other time-sensitive outpatient clinic needs
• Coordinate patient communication and help ensure timely follow-up throughout the care process
• Support colleagues as needed while maintaining efficient clinic operations
• Deliver professional, compassionate nursing care to patients and families
