Job Description
Join a 12-week travel assignment as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role supports critically ill patients across the ICU community, including CVICU, Med/Surg ICU, and Neuro ICU, with an expected 1:2 ratio. You will work night shifts, collaborate with critical care teams, and care for complex cardiovascular and intensive-care patients—ideal for an experienced RN who is ready to own the night shift.
The assignment requires at least two years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to interpret and analyze PA catheter data. Experience with open-heart recovery directly from the OR is strongly preferred. Relevant skills include LVAD/RVAD/Impella, IABP, CRRT with Prismaflex, ECMO, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, targeted temperature management, bedside trachs and PEGs, EndoTool glucose monitoring, temporary pacemakers, HeartMate 2 and 3, CentriMag, and balloon pumps. On-call coverage is not required, and the schedule includes every other weekend.
