Job Description
Join a 13-week travel assignment as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in New Orleans. This role is designed for an experienced surgical RN with at least three years of neuro surgery and orthopedic spine experience, including craniotomies. Experience with general, ENT, and robotic procedures is a plus. The unit does not accept first-time travelers, and neuro call is required.
The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts each week. Travelers must be willing to work two of four designated holiday periods—Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s—based on departmental needs and staff rotation. During an emergency event, the unit manager may assign travelers to an Emergency Team or relief team, with an expectation to remain at the facility until the event has passed or relief coverage is arranged.
