Position Details

• Full-time position
• ASAP through the end of November 2026
• School-based setting
• Opportunity to work with students across multiple grade levels
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure students receive the healthcare services they need to access their education

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to students with acute and chronic health needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans
• Monitor student health concerns and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records and required documentation
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• School nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school personnel and families
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
