Experienced Mammography Technologists can join an on-site outpatient imaging team in Atlanta, Georgia, for an 8-week travel healthcare contract with a consistent weekday schedule. Travel Mammography Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30342
• Specialty: Mammography

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts; 5 shifts per week
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract Duration: Approximately 8 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: January 2, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870–$2,010
• Holiday Availability: Must work two of the following major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day—and one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Mammography Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent professional experience in mammography
• ARRT certification in Mammography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, patient positioning, and breast imaging safety practices
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists and the imaging care team
• Commitment to providing every patient with a compassionate, professional experience

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations according to established protocols
• Accurately position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic breast images
• Explain procedures, address patient concerns, and promote comfort and privacy throughout each examination
• Review mammography images for technical quality and repeat studies when clinically appropriate
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and imaging quality assurance standards
• Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with applicable healthcare and imaging regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support timely, patient-centered care
