Travel Occupational Therapy Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,090

• Assignment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with a 60-minute lunch
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Weekend Coverage: Not required
• On-Call: Not required
• Schedule Flexibility: Block scheduling may be accommodated

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
• Active Oklahoma occupational therapy license or compact license required before the assignment begins
• Experience in swing-bed rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, or a related setting preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and patient-education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation and care team
• Current required health screenings and immunizations, subject to applicable medical or religious exemptions

Occupational Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide skilled OT interventions to improve mobility, activities of daily living, functional independence, and safety
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safe transitions
• Document evaluations, treatments, outcomes, and discharge recommendations accurately
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings supporting swing-bed rehabilitation services
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, patients, and families
• Support acute-care rehabilitation needs when appropriate
