CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience performing CT scans and general X-ray examinations
• Diagnostic imaging credentials appropriate for CT and radiography practice
• Ability to work independently in a hospital or critical access hospital environment
• Strong patient-care, communication, and technical skills

CT and X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to established imaging protocols
• Perform general X-ray examinations as needed
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and explain CT and radiology procedures clearly
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and accurately while following radiation-safety practices
• Review diagnostic images for quality and completeness before submitting studies for interpretation
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Provide dependable overnight coverage while working efficiently and independently
