Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920–$2,060
• Location: Vero Beach, Florida
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital CT department
• Start Date: November 22, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through February 21, 2027
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift: 10-hour nights, approximately 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Position Type: Travel healthcare assignment
• Orientation: 16 hours; required pre-start learning modules may apply

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Florida radiologic technologist license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification at the time of submission
• Recent experience operating a Siemens Somatom Definition AS scanner
• Ability to work independently on an overnight schedule while maintaining strong patient care and safety standards
• Two professional references from a direct supervisor, manager, assistant nurse manager, or department director may be required

Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols and diagnostic imaging safety standards
• Operate Siemens CT equipment, including the Somatom Definition AS+, Somatom FORCE, and X.Cite 128 systems
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide compassionate support throughout the imaging experience
• Verify patient identification, clinical history, and exam orders before scanning
• Position patients accurately and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document procedures and maintain accurate imaging records
• Follow radiation protection, infection prevention, and hospital safety policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
