Surgical Support Aide / CNA – Night Shift Travel Contract in Cleveland, Ohio

Travel Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $590–$640
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 17, 2026
• End Date: February 16, 2027
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour night shifts
• Shift Timing: Overnight schedule; exact hours will be confirmed during onboarding
• Orientation and Initial Training: Day-shift training, generally 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., may be required during orientation and the first three weeks
• Work Setting: Hospital surgical services and perioperative support

Surgical Support Aide / CNA Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Surgical Support Technician I experience, or 2 years of experience in a lead role
• At least 1 full year of customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission, as applicable to the role
• Ability to provide a recent professional reference from a manager, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or director in the specialty
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and remain active throughout the shift
• Successful completion of required background screening, credential verification, orientation assessments, and facility onboarding requirements

Surgical Services Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and respectfully to and from surgical and procedural areas
• Move equipment, supplies, and other heavy items throughout the department
• Clean, prepare, and turn over operating and procedural rooms according to established standards
• Support surgical services staff with operating room readiness and efficient perioperative workflow
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental procedures
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment during overnight operations
