Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Job in Harrison Township, NJ

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Harrison Township, New Jersey. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960-$2,280
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: 6/29/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month, based on department needs

Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• BSN
• Previous travel nursing experience required, including completion of at least one contract assignment
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment preferred
• NJ License/Compact
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Candidates must be able to complete all required orientation and onboarding activities as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician orders in a fast-paced ER setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
• Respond effectively to critical situations and prioritize care based on acuity
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the emergency care experience
• Participate in all required orientation, training modules, and unit-based onboarding activities
