Physical Therapist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380–$2,550
• Location: Antigo, Wisconsin
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based rehabilitation with inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Flexible 8–10-hour day shifts, generally 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Weekend/Holiday Schedule: Possibility of working 1–2 weekends; no holiday rotation
• Float and On-Call: No regular float or on-call requirement

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience providing both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy
• Strong general physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation skills
• Current Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required, or willingness to begin the application process before the start date
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a related field required; doctoral education is a plus
• Epic electronic medical record charting experience preferred
• Ability to manage an independent workload, treat approximately 8–10 patients, complete tasks efficiently, and adapt well to change
• Professional, patient-centered approach and business-casual attire

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions for general and orthopedic conditions
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to support safe, measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to coordinate effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, safety, and home exercise programs
• Manage daily patient assignments independently while maintaining high standards of physical therapy care
