Travel Laboratory Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,370–$1,470
• Location: Wray, Colorado
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital laboratory
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Call: Shared night and weekend call, generally including one weekend per month
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, through January 23, 2027

Medical Laboratory Technician Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
• Current ASCP, MLT, or MLS certification
• Experience performing general laboratory procedures
• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience
• Proficiency with arterial blood gas draws
• Ability to work scheduled call shifts, including nights and weekends

Medical Laboratory Technician Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in a hospital-based environment while following established quality control and safety standards
• Process and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently
• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and perform arterial blood gas draws
• Document laboratory test results and specimen information in accordance with established procedures
• Communicate significant findings and specimen concerns to appropriate members of the clinical care team
• Participate in shared night and weekend call coverage
