Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• At least 2 years of recent acute care, medical-surgical, and telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills
• Telemetry monitoring experience with the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status, escalating significant changes promptly
• Complete patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective treatment
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge needs
• Prioritize care for multiple patients while maintaining accurate, timely documentation
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to established clinical standards
