Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Baldwin Park, California
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: Approximately 11 weeks
• Contract Dates: October 11, 2026–December 26, 2026

Labor & Delivery RN Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience is preferred
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related field is preferred
• Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including experience within the last 2 years, is preferred
• At least 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years is preferred

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Assess maternal and fetal status and promptly identify changes requiring intervention
• Support patients and families through routine and high-risk obstetric experiences
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with obstetric providers, neonatal clinicians, anesthesia professionals, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Provide patient education, emotional support, and guidance related to labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and outcomes
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
