CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440–$2,620
• Position Type: Travel CT Technologist contract
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend; no block scheduling
• Work Setting: On-site hospital radiology and CT department

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT Technologist or computed tomography experience; prior travel experience is required
• Recent experience in an inpatient acute-care hospital and Level I trauma environment
• Current ARRT certification or eligibility for verification
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated peripheral IV skills, including the ability to start IVs for outpatients
• Recent experience operating GE Hi-Def or GE Revolution CT systems is required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts and every other weekend
• Strong patient-care, communication, and clinical judgment skills

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans safely and accurately for inpatient, outpatient, and trauma patients
• Operate advanced CT equipment while following imaging protocols and radiation-safety standards
• Complete patient screening, preparation, positioning, and monitoring throughout CT examinations
• Establish peripheral IV access and administer contrast media according to applicable protocols and scope of practice
• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient changes, contrast reactions, and urgent imaging needs
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient radiology department workflow during overnight coverage
