Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts; Longwood/Mission Hill area
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• End Date: February 27, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710-$2,920
• Department: Hospital Diagnostic Radiology
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts, approximately 11:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly; guaranteed hours exclude on-call time
• Work Setting: On-site hospital diagnostic imaging environment
• Float: No floating required

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a CT Technologist
• CT Technologist certification and current ARRT credentials or verification
• Current BLS certification
• Epic experience required
• Demonstrated experience operating C-arms and portable imaging units
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, patient positioning, and diagnostic image quality standards
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the overnight radiology and healthcare team

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and hospital diagnostic radiology standards
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality diagnostic images
• Use C-arms and portable imaging units as required to support patient care
• Complete patient screening, positioning, preparation, and post-procedure documentation
• Verify patient information, review imaging orders, and accurately document examinations in Epic
• Follow radiation protection, infection prevention, and patient safety procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic imaging services
• Participate in training on the Konica Minolta imaging unit
