Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week Occupational Therapist travel assignment
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Location: Greenville, North Carolina
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient general rehabilitation and spinal cord injury program
• Schedule: Monday-Friday; 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810-$1,940
• Weekends and On-Call: Not required
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs or business casual

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience; new graduates are not eligible for this assignment
• Current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina
• Experience evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Clinical experience with orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and back or neck disorders
• Ability to treat neurological diagnoses, including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury, as needed
• No specialty certification required

Occupational Therapy Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Support patients recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, back and neck conditions, stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Monitor patient progress and modify interventions to promote functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, activities, and strategies for safe participation in daily routines
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge recommendations accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to promote quality patient outcomes
