CT Technologist Travel Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,390–$2,560
• Location: Penn Wynne, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care, Level II teaching hospital
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel CT Technologist contract
• Start Date: November 17, 2026
• End Date: February 16, 2027
• Shift: 10-hour night shifts, 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Four shifts per week; weekend coverage is expected, including Friday through Sunday overnight coverage as scheduled
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: Approximately 12 hours, with required pre-start learning modules

CT Technologist Qualifications

• At least 2 years of CT Technologist or CT Tech experience; 5 years is preferred
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Recent Siemens CT experience is required
• Community hospital experience is required
• Level II trauma experience is required
• Prior Epic charting experience is required
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, contrast administration, peripheral IV starts, PACS, and multiplanar reconstruction

Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings
• Complete routine and advanced CT imaging studies of the head, brain, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal system, and vascular structures
• Perform CT examinations with and without contrast, including CTA, pulmonary embolism, aorta, enterography, colorectal, and intravenous pyelogram studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with applicable safety protocols
• Start peripheral IVs and monitor patients throughout examinations
• Apply appropriate isolation precautions and personal protective equipment
• Recognize and appropriately respond to urgent and trauma-related findings or patient needs
• Use Siemens CT equipment, PACS, and Epic to acquire, document, and transmit high-quality imaging studies
• Maintain accurate documentation while following radiation safety, quality assurance, and department procedures
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team
