Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Setting: Acute care

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Call: May be required based on department needs
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Contract Dates: October 21, 2026 – January 20, 2027
• Department Volume: Approximately 400 imaging studies per day
• Imaging Resources: Five rooms/scanners, Toshiba radiography rooms, Carestream portable units, and OEC C-arms
• Technology: Epic and Fuji Synapse
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent radiologic technology experience
• Active ARRT certification
• Valid West Virginia radiologic technologist license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with diagnostic X-ray, C-arm imaging, and fluoroscopy
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends, holidays, and call when assigned
• Radiation monitoring badge required
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations safely and accurately in an acute-care environment
• Provide imaging support in operating rooms using C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, verify exam information, and maintain patient comfort and safety
• Operate fixed and portable radiography equipment according to established protocols
• Produce and evaluate high-quality images while applying appropriate radiation-safety practices
• Document examinations and patient information accurately in Epic and transmit images through Fuji Synapse
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Maintain equipment readiness, follow department procedures, and support efficient workflow during high-volume periods
