Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Middlebury, Vermont
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050–$3,280
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2027
• Duration: Approximately 16 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts with rotating days and evenings; occasional nights may be needed
• Weekend Requirement: Weekends required, with a minimum of every other weekend or scheduling adjustments based on department and patient-care needs
• Schedule Notes: No block scheduling; orientation is held on Mondays

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of radiology and CT technologist experience
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Recent Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years required
• Philips imaging equipment experience preferred
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Reliable personal or rental transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the area

Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and general radiology procedures according to established protocols
• Operate CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of image quality
• Complete patient screening, positioning, education, and monitoring throughout examinations
• Verify imaging orders, review relevant clinical information, and communicate with the care team as appropriate
• Administer contrast media in accordance with applicable policies, training, and scope of practice
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and radiology department quality standards
• Support rotating schedules, weekend coverage, and occasional night coverage as needed to meet patient-care demands
