Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Location: Roseville, California
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Employment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 24, 2026
• Contract End Date: February 23, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580–$2,770
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: Approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Weekday and weekend call coverage may be required
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or similar cardiac procedural professional
• ARRT or RCIS credential
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider
• Ability to participate in weekday and weekend call coverage
• Strong communication, patient interaction, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow established clinical, patient safety, privacy, and regulatory procedures

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to cardiologists, registered nurses, and radiology staff during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Prepare for and assist with procedures while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient cardiac cath lab environment
• Apply technical knowledge and clinical judgment under the supervision of a cardiologist or interventional radiologist
• Monitor and interact with patients throughout procedures to promote comfort, cooperation, and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, support persons, and members of the healthcare team
• Adhere to applicable local, state, and federal regulations, privacy standards, and department policies
• Support accurate technical execution and analysis of procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Assist with mentoring and training students or other team members as appropriate
