PSR with high volume exp

Will be hybrid/remote - must live within commutable distance to PCAM in case of need on site

Will be supporting the Kidney Transplant team for patient referral scheduling

Largest transplant team in the country

Standard is 1-3 business days to get scheduled, currently backlogged 6-10 weeks

Objective

Address the immediate referral backlog while developing a sustainable staffing model that supports timely patient access and future program growth.

Current State

• The Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program has experienced significant delays in responding to new referrals, with response times extending from the expected 2 business days to as much as 6-10 weeks.
• Delays are negatively impacting patient experience, referring provider confidence, and transplant program growth goals.
• Current mitigation efforts include overtime, and temporary support from other organ programs.

Immediate Staffing Needs

• Availability of experienced temporary staff who can support:
  • Referral intake
  • New patient scheduling
  • Telephone outreach
  • Medical record collection
  • Work queue management
  • Data entry/documentation support

Skills and Experience Needed

Ideal candidates should have:

• Healthcare scheduling experience
• Experience navigating complex specialty care workflows
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Ability to manage high-volume referral work queues
• Experience working with multiple referral sources, providers, and external facilities
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision after training
