OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• At least 1 year of relevant OB/GYN physician experience
• Active Arizona physician license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Active DEA registration
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination documentation, with medical or religious exemption requests considered as applicable
• Ability to complete credentialing requirements, including recent case logs and required clinical documentation
• Comfort with Cerner documentation and hospital-based obstetric care

OB/GYN Locum Tenens Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage in a hospital setting
• Manage obstetric patients and participate in deliveries during assigned coverage
• Respond to clinical callbacks and provide timely evaluation and treatment recommendations
• Remain available for 24-hour beeper call during scheduled shifts
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with nursing staff, hospital teams, and other healthcare professionals to support safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in required orientation and complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner
