CRNA Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist experience required
• Active CRNA license and national certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Endoscopy anesthesia or procedural anesthesia experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-monitoring skills
• Ability to work independently in a solo CRNA provider role
• Comfort managing monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and IV sedation cases, including procedures requiring prone positioning

CRNA Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for colonoscopies, hemorrhoidectomies, and other anorectal procedures
• Administer and monitor MAC and IV sedation using appropriate anesthetic medications, including propofol and fentanyl
• Complete pre-procedure assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Continuously monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Safely manage patients requiring prone positioning during endoscopy and procedural care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support efficient patient flow
• Collaborate with the procedural team to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes
