Job description
Job Description:
Provide behavioral health nursing care to adult patients receiving psychiatric and detox services in Ashland, Wisconsin. This 13-week travel assignment includes 12-hour night shifts in a 10-bed unit serving patients with alcohol use disorder, polysubstance use, alcohol detox needs, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Patient assignments are typically 1:3 and no higher than 1:5. The unit has 24/7 charge nurse coverage, support from CNA/unit coordinators, and flexible scheduling. IVs and physical restraints are rarely used, and there is no floating or call requirement. First-time travelers are welcome with at least one year of experience and current BLS certification.
